My wife phoned Martin Brannigan again today. She was lucky enough to catch him at work this time. She asked him about the letter of deadlock. He said that there was a lot of work still to be done on it but he would try to finish it up today and get it sent out. I suppose a week of procrastination from Scottish Power is a small price to pay.
Our shortened day yesterday did not result in any less electricity being used. We still managed to use 16 units of electricity in a 10 and half hour period as opposed to the 16 units used in the 26 hour period from the previous reading. Go figure!!
As a slight change from our usual daily routine we found ourselves in Edinburgh, and more precisely Tesco's in Corstorphine. However with electricity not too far from our thoughts we found ourselves buying more low energy light-bulbs. How sad is that!!!
