Well today was a complete waste of a short time! I unfortunately did not get out of bed until 14:33 hours. I hadn't intended to sleep so long it's just, well I think I'm suffering from stress related exhaustion, or something. I've never slept like that in my life before.

Anyway, I was 2 hours late in checking my electricity usage yesterday, so for yesterday I have to count it as a 26 hour day and I only used 16 units in 26 hours with nothing out of the ordinary being used. Remarkably on the 24th June this year I managed to use 17 units in a 24 hour period under the same circumstances i.e nothing out of the ordinary being used.

Equally, just in this last month alone, I have had days where I've used 16 units of electricity and the washing machine has been on twice, there have been 2 showers and the tumble drier has been used 3 times. I've also had days within the last month where the washing machine has been used twice as has the tumble drier without the shower being used, and we have used 19 units of electricity. When you then take into consideration the 27.5 units of electricity averaged when we were on holiday last year. It puts the problem more into perspective. And yet still Scottish Power don't seem to see the problem. What do I need to do to prove I don't use the amount of electricity they say I use???
